Little Bill's Vegan Food Blog 02/19/2010 Day 7

Tonight ate a Red Lentil Dal mild curry with cut up white potatoes,onions,garlic. Boiled the Red Lentils for 10mins after soaking overnight and then added all to the slow cooker(crockpot) and set on my favorite setting (10hrs low)

A funny thing happened with the red lentils being so small (like the size of BB's) and the white potatoes being cooked so long......THEY ALL TURNED TO MUSH and my Dal was like a yellow curry baby food. UM UMMMM it was so good.

SERVE: On top of a wheat or multi grain bread. Imagine the nutritional analysis here!


Quick Note*** I have noticed that my appetite is fine and I am already eating less. The spiritual axiom of being VEGAN is one of peace and fulfillment.
